It seems all the money is spent on the major cities of India. Delhi has defined geography and the surronding area is is called National Capital Territory. For centuries Delhi has been dear to many rulers. Since 1931 when capital was shifted from Kolkatta to Delhi in 1931, it has been capital of India with Shimla being the summer capital for British India till 1947 CE.
Number of smaller towns surround Delhi and there is a sharp cut off when you cross Delhi. First thing you notice is run down roads with lot of dug out areas, single roads getting congested specially when you pass through residential areas. All the patients have to come to Delhi for getting treatment. It is responsibility of all states to provide water, electricity and healthcare to its citizens. Much needs to be done.
